Hi, I’m Kim Nguyen, also known as KimmyKAZĒ. I’m a color specialist and extension artist passionate about creating hair transformations that feel authentic, intentional, and empowering.
I’m a Paul Mitchell East Bay alumni, a two-time Behind The Chair nominee, and triple certified in extensions (IBE, Hair Shop, Bellami). My journey began in the Bay Area and eventually brought me to Southern California, where I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of hair types, styles, and creative visions.
I specialize in blonding, color theory, and transformative color work, combining strong product knowledge with an efficient and thoughtful approach behind the chair. I work with high-quality professional products that allow me to tailor each service to the individual, creating personalized results while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.
I’m also passionate about evolving the way we work in the salon by being more mindful of the environment. I collaborate with brands like B3, Leaf & Flower, and CLICS that focus on reducing waste and creating more eco-conscious practices behind the chair.
The philosophy behind KAZĒ, meaning wind and transformation, reflects how I approach both my work and my life. Growth is movement, and transformation is part of the journey.
